Chapter 644

Yubel, summon!

With the descent of her true form, Yubel's momentum and confidence seemed to have grown stronger. Of course, this didn't make her forget that there were still troublesome problems left on the field that hadn't been solved.

"The effect of the Continuous Spell 'Treasures of the Underworld'. Because I used two Tributes for a Tribute Summon, I draw two cards from my deck."

Yubel drew two cards, and after just one glance, she directly revealed one of them.

"Activate the Spell card 'Pot of Magic'. Send a Continuous Spell on the field to the Graveyard, and draw two cards from the deck." (Original effect)

Yubel pulled a Continuous Spell from the slot in her back row, showed it briefly, and then stuffed it into the Graveyard.

"Send the Continuous Spell 'Knightly Spirit' to the Graveyard, draw two cards."

Yubel drew two more cards.

Fujiki You Xuan: "What terrifying sustainability, replenishing until your ammo overflows, huh."

Silence gestured beside him, Fujiki You Xuan met her eyes, and smiled.

"Don't be careless? Don't worry, she can't threaten me. At least not in this state."

His voice wasn't low, and he didn't deliberately hide it; Yubel heard it clearly, and couldn't help but get even angrier.

"Do you have time to flirt during a duel with me?"

Feeling slighted once again, Yubel raised her voice and revealed another card from her hand.

"Activate the Spell card 'Soul Capture'!

Destroy one monster on the opponent's field, then the opponent recovers 1000 life points."

The image of the Spell card appeared in her back row, and a demon's claw suddenly stretched out from the card art. The demon's five fingers spread out, as if releasing endless gravitational force.

Thestalos the Firestorm Monarch was instantly captured by that gravitational force. He tried his best to stand firm on the field, gritting his teeth to support himself, his body trembling slightly from the effort. But soon, something in a golden energy state was pulled out from his body, as if his soul had left his body, and was dragged into the card by the demon.

The Monarch's body instantly turned into an empty shell that had lost its soul, stiffened in place for a few seconds, and then quickly became covered in cracks, crumbling with a crunch and scattering all over the ground.

【Fujiki You Xuan, LP 4000 → LP 5000】

The spirit of Thestalos the Firestorm Monarch, who had been destroyed and left the field, returned to a ghost state, kneeling on one knee with an apologetic look, as if pleading guilty.

Fujiki You Xuan waved his hand: "It's okay, you did well enough. Let's leave some room for others to perform next."

"With this, your damn Rainbow Veil is also destroyed," Yubel snorted coldly.

"Indeed it is."

Fujiki You Xuan nodded, smiling.

"It seems you really are afraid of this card."

Yubel was startled, then angry: "I—I am not!"

But after being told that, she suddenly had a strange illusion. It felt like the duel with this person was like passing through five passes and killing six generals, with the opponent preparing layers of barriers for her, each one more dangerous than the last.

And every time she went through hardships and finally passed a barrier, just when she thought she was finally going to see the light, she found that what she had just passed was only an appetizer, and the real heavyweights were still behind.

Yubel shook her head, shaking off this unsettling thought.

"Battle!"

Yubel shouted, seemingly wanting to boost her momentum and calm herself down.

"Yubel, attack 'Torture Giant'!"

【Yubel, ATK 0】

【Torture Giant, ATK 3000】

Fujiki You Xuan: "Nani? Actually attacking with a monster with 0 attack power!?"

Yubel felt that she had regained a bit of face, and said smugly: "Hehe, Yubel's effect is that it cannot be destroyed by battle no matter what.

All battle damage from battles involving this card becomes 0, and after each battle, the opponent is dealt damage equal to the amount of damage that was negated." (Original effect)

Fujiki You Xuan was shocked: "So that's why you wanted to give me the Torture Giant. This combo is established, and you can deal 3000 huge damage in one breath..." Yubel smugly: "Exactly!"

Eye was almost speechless: "You have such exaggerated acting skills, and she actually believed it..."

"Is that so? I think this is a soul performance."

Fujiki You Xuan put away his look of surprise and smiled.

"But since you've said so..."

His right arm slowly raised.

"Activate my Set card, the Trap card 'Enemy Attack Alert'!

When the opponent declares an attack, Special Summon a monster from my hand, and the opponent must forcibly attack that monster." (Original effect)

Fujiki You Xuan said, revealing a monster in his hand.

"If the opponent is you, these guys are just right," he smiled mysteriously. "Come, Gladiator Beast Samnite!"

"Gladiator Beast?"

Yubel frowned. This was also a new thing that appeared while she was not on Earth, and it involved her knowledge blind spot again.

Don't miss a single word of the content!

A Gladiator Beast in the shape of an upright horse, wearing a gladiator's armor, with a long whip coiling with electric current in its hand, landed on Fujiki You Xuan's field in a defensive posture.

【Gladiator Beast Samnite, DEF 300】

"A low-level monster with only 300 defense, I see."

Yubel chuckled, feeling as if she had seen through Fujiki You Xuan's thoughts.

"Indeed, forcibly changing the attack target to a small fry with only 300 defense, in this way, the damage reflected to me is indeed only 300 points. Using such means to avoid most of the damage is a good response."

Yubel said casually.

"Then, let's attack 'Gladiator Beast Samnite'."

It was called an attack, but in fact, Yubel's attack power was only 0. And her most proficient means was not physical attack, but mental control, charming people's hearts.

Yubel's heterochromatic eyes flashed, and then the same strange essence appeared in the eyes of the Gladiator Beast warrior.

The Gladiator Beast warrior couldn't help but roar, pulling out the long whip in its hand, and the long whip coiling with electric current lashed fiercely at Yubel.

At the same time, thorny vines suddenly shot out from under Yubel, circling into a ring, protecting her like a barrier. The electric shock was completely absorbed by the vines, and then it surged back to Fujiki You Xuan!

【Fujiki You Xuan, LP 5000 → LP 4700】

"You escaped this time, but it won't be so easy next turn," Yubel sneered. "If you don't want to die too fast, you'd better not leave too powerful a monster on the field."

She said, licking her lips with her tongue.

"I most~ love powerful men."

Yubel clearly hadn't realized the severity of the problem.

Fujiki You Xuan calmly patted the dust off his body, and suddenly smiled with a somewhat sinister look in his eyes: "You just hit the Gladiator Beast, right?"

"Hmm?"

Yubel was startled.

What kind of strange question is this?

"Nothing, just that you might have made one of the most serious mistakes in this duel."

Fujiki You Xuan snapped his fingers.

"The effect of Gladiator Beast Samnite," Fujiki You Xuan said. "At the end of the Battle Phase in which Samnite has battled, return this card to the owner's deck, and Special Summon a Gladiator Beast monster other than 'Gladiator Beast Samnite' from the deck."

Another beam of light flew out from Fujiki You Xuan's deck.

"Come, Gladiator Beast Augustus!"
