Chapter 1783

~6 min read 1,099 words

"I don't understand what you're talking about." Hekalos stared coldly at Emmens: "My affairs are none of your concern."

"Hekalos, you refuse to surrender only because you're too stubborn—I admire that trait. If you could change this temper of yours, perhaps we might have had a chance to cooperate today." Colonel Emmens swirled his wine glass, looking utterly at ease.

"You'd better get out of here fast," Hekalos said coldly.

Emmens set down his wine glass, spread his arms and shrugged: "Fine, I can leave now—but before I go, I must return your wife."

"Never!" Hekalos's face flushed crimson.

"Hehe, I don't mind fighting you. If I knock you down, maybe you'll change your mind." Emmens stepped back several paces, then leapt forward, lunging straight at Hekalos!

Once these two began fighting, the intensity was earth-shattering!

Hekalos swung a punch, meeting Emmens's blow head-on!

Yet Emmens's technique was bizarre—he seemed to dissipate half of Hekalos's force, leaving his attack useless!

Hekalos gritted his teeth and surged forward again, faster!

But Emmens was even faster—he twisted his waist, dodged Hekalos's strike, then kicked out! Fierce and merciless!

The latter dodged aside, but Emmens seized his collar and hurled him away!

Boom!

A gust of wind surged—Emmens had just released his grip when Hekalos stood where Emmens had been moments before!

Instructor of Training Camp 1698

"Your speed is impressive—you're no doubt the former instructor of the Apollo Special Forces Training Camp," Emmens said. "But I advise you not to resist. Otherwise, I'll get angry—and the consequences could be severe."

Hekalos drew a deep breath: "Let me be clear—you won't succeed. You can't command this aircraft carrier."

"Oh?" Emmens smiled faintly, drew his pistol, and pointed it at Hekalos's head. "Hekalos, do you think you can stop us?"

"Stopping you isn't hard," Hekalos said.

He raised an eyebrow, his eyes glinting with cruel intent.

Then he raised his fist and smashed it down hard onto the tire!

Boom!

A deafening crash echoed!

A round tire instantly deformed!

"Damn it!" Emmens roared.

Hekalos ignored his rage, raised his right hand again, and struck another crushing blow!

Another tire exploded!

"Hekalos, if you keep this up, the whole ship will sink!" Emmens shouted.

But Hekalos paid no heed to his threats—he continued smashing the tires with wild, relentless punches!

Again and again!

Tires burst in rings, and chaos engulfed the entire ship!

"Stop! Stop right now!" Emmens bellowed. "Or I'll shoot!"

"Try it," Hekalos sneered, his face twisted with ferocity.

"Hekalos, I know you're buying time waiting for reinforcements—but I tell you, it's useless. What can you possibly do to stop me?" Emmens said.

"Is that so? Then look around you," Hekalos suddenly smiled.

Emmens looked down at his surroundings—and his face filled with stunned disbelief!

For the aircraft carrier, which had been moving steadily, suddenly shuddered violently!

Then, a tremendous impact rang out from the stern!

A dark opening suddenly appeared—and from it, a torpedo shot forth!

Emmens's hair stood on end with terror!

He tried to flee—but it was too late. One torpedo pierced straight through his abdomen and detonated inside!

Blood instantly stained the deck!

"Hahahaha!" Hekalos threw his head back and roared with laughter!

………

Meanwhile, Ximen Wudi stood at the ship's rail, holding a corpse in his hand.

The corpse was Holman.

A dagger was plunged into his chest—the fatal wound was to his heart.

Earlier, Holman had led several men tracking those vehicles, finally locating this super transport aircraft belonging to the Jaguar.

They spent until three in the morning to rescue Holman.

But due to massive blood loss, Holman collapsed on the spot.

Ximen Wudi carried him back, chose not to rush treatment, and ordered medics to lay him quietly on a bed.

At that moment, he heard the deafening explosion from afar.

Then Ximen Wudi shouted to Shao Zihang beside him: "Send a plane to scout the situation—I fear an ambush here."

He wasn't overly concerned for Emmens's safety—after all, Emmens's status was too sensitive for China to kill lightly.

Besides, this man causing such a commotion here was clearly doing it on purpose.

"Brother Rui, aren't we going to help?" Shao Zihang asked. "What if Instructor Hekalos can't hold out?"

"He'll hold on until the very end," Ximen Wudi saw through Hekalos's goal. "He's got an unyielding spirit—I trust him."

"Don't hold out hope," Li Dannian's figure suddenly appeared at the cockpit door.

"Dannian, my brother, come help me!" Hekalos shouted.

"Got it, I'm coming—I've finished my side too, just one little pest still jumping around." Li Dannian grinned, then stepped into the cockpit.

In fact, the little pest he meant was naturally the guy crouched over the control panel, playing a mobile game.

"Dan Nian, don't kill him yet—he's still useful. Disable his legs, but don't touch his kidneys or liver, or you'll be spending time in solitary confinement," Hekalos said.

"Got it, no problem." Li Dannian replied, then charged straight into the cockpit with his blade.

………

"You damn fool, what the hell are you doing! You call yourself the King of Pirates! How can you fail at something this simple! Are all your men dead?!"

Yet inside the bridge, besides the mercenary sitting in his chair playing his game, there were only two corpses and two wounded sailors.

All of Emon's men had died on the deck.

The other four sailors had long since been knocked unconscious by Hekalos.

Hekalos's fist technique was truly powerful.

In just twenty minutes, he had crippled half of this cruiser!

Emon tried to break free, but Hekalos held him fast!

"Get off me, you bastard!" Emon roared.

Yet even with his formidable skills, he was now spent.

"Heh, King of Pirates, looks like you're even worse off than I am," Hekalos sneered mockingly. "Look at yourself now—do you even look human? You're nothing but dog shit!"

Emon was so furious his eyes nearly burst!

"Remember this—what happened today won't end so easily!"

As Emon spoke, his arms suddenly spread wide!

A mass of dark clouds instantly coalesced in the sky!

Within that oppressive cloud layer, an incredibly terrifying energy seemed to gather!

The clouds grew darker and darker, as if a storm were about to break!

At that moment, Ximen Wudi narrowed his eyes, his pupils contracting slightly: "Temple of Zeus?"

Temple of Zeus?

The clouds were thick and stretched over a vast area, nearly covering the entire flag of the Sun Temple.

The temperature in this region dropped rapidly!

Ximen Wudi stared at the clouds, his brow slightly furrowed, his gaze filled with caution!
