In a world where humanity survives against monstrous threats by awakening Life-Bound Demon Cards, ordinary student Su Chen dies and is reborn into a brutal new reality where only those who master Demon Cards can thrive. Armed with memories of Earth’s fantasy anime and manga—especially Digimon—he bypasses conventional paths and awakens an unprecedented original Demon Card: Gatomon, a Champion-level Digimon from a world unknown in this realm. His card defies all norms, glowing with rare Green Grade power on first awakening, shocking his teachers and classmates.

While others follow established paths like Elemental Spirits or Beast Battle Pets, Su Chen forges his own route, secretly planning to upgrade Gatomon using auxiliary cards modeled after Digimon’s iconic gear like the Holy Ring and SaberLeomon Claw. As he hides his true potential beneath an unassuming facade, he begins to realize that his knowledge from another world may be the key to reshaping the entire Demon Card system—and perhaps saving humanity from extinction. But in a society that fears the unknown, standing out could make him a target.
