"That bandit Zhu Cilang is more treacherous than any traitor to the Han, and better at bewitching men's hearts than I, Li Zicheng!" — the Roving King Li Zicheng, reining in his horse on Huya Mountain, gazing toward the southeast, overcome with feeling.

"This boy Cilang is defiant and unfilial, cunning and cruel — Cao Cao reborn, Sima Yi come again! Once he is emperor, every rebel, treacherous minister, and unruly commoner under heaven will surely miss Us!" — the Chongzhen Emperor of the Great Ming, weeping bitterly before the Xiaoling Mausoleum.

"I am wronged! I, Hong Chengchou, truly am not the bandit Zhu Cilang's mole — my heart is loyal to the Great Qing!" — Hong Chengchou, Minister of War of the Great Qing, crying out on the execution ground.

"Imperial Father, don't run — your son is only being filial!" — the heartfelt words of Zhu Cilang, Crown Prince of the Great Ming, possessed by the soul of a certain honest young man from the twenty-first century, as he chased the Chongzhen Emperor with a sword in hand.
